Learn
Visual Basic
Visual basic makes creating windows applications a doddle, point and
click for all the forms and menu's you need. Use Basic code to glue it all together
and hey presto, a new application. Great if you have small a application to
put together fast. It'll never be as powerful or fast as C++, but it does have
its place. The only real drawback with this is that as the name suggests it's
based on basic. After getting used to C++ and Perl I often find that going to
VB means massive restrictions of programming techniques, making everything very
long winded. They should have a version where you can drag and drop the graphics
but with C++ code to glue it together.
